Salary Range: $27.09 - $31.04
*As required under NYC Human Rights Law Int 1208-2018 - Salary range for this role when Hired for NYC Offices
Position Summary Under direct supervision, assists with the day-to-day operations of minority student programs and initiatives
Job Responsibilities - Responsible for updating materials, preparing mailings and providing information regarding program details.
- Arranges student schedules.
- Responsible for coordinating travel and housing arrangements for students.
- Assists with the recruitment of underrepresented minority students.
- Assists with the coordination of meetings, conferences and events, including equipment set-up and catering services.
- Drafts proposals.
- Responsible for disbursement/reimbursement activities as needed.
- Maintains hard copy and/or electronic files and databases. Ensures the security, accuracy and integrity of records.
- Generates reports for analysis.
Education Experience Bachelor's degree preferred.
Approximately 2 years of previous related experience
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities - Demonstrated organizational skills and ability to pay close attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills (both verbal and written).
- Demonstrated proficiency with MS Office Suite and database applications.
