Salary Range: $27.09 - $31.04

Position Summary
Under direct supervision, assists with the day-to-day operations of minority student programs and initiatives

Job Responsibilities

  • Responsible for updating materials, preparing mailings and providing information regarding program details.
  • Arranges student schedules.
  • Responsible for coordinating travel and housing arrangements for students.
  • Assists with the recruitment of underrepresented minority students.
  • Assists with the coordination of meetings, conferences and events, including equipment set-up and catering services.
  • Drafts proposals.
  • Responsible for disbursement/reimbursement activities as needed.
  • Maintains hard copy and/or electronic files and databases. Ensures the security, accuracy and integrity of records.
  • Generates reports for analysis.
Education

  • High School Diploma
Experience


Bachelor's degree preferred.


Approximately 2 years of previous related experience

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

  • Demonstrated organizational skills and ability to pay close attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication skills (both verbal and written).
  • Demonstrated proficiency with MS Office Suite and database applications.
